Working now but still sad

I'm glad to say that I have been working for some time now, but not all is good, I have not been able to see my husband in Mexico for about two months now. Things are getting worst in Mexico, the killings and abductings are more and more. My husband says it is best for are safety not to go. I has been hard not being able to go see him. My daughter and I miss him so much and all we can do is pray that all of this will stop soon but it is getting fustrating for me only because I dont see it getting better, its getting worst every day.

THE OIL SPILL

What a joke, it isn't an oil spill it's a disaster. BP and our Government are tip toeing around it like they have some on their $350.00 shoes. Isn't our President really gathering information by playing with oil balls on the beaches.

I can't see why they are having such a problem. When Exxon had their spill  didn't they have a hose system that vaccumed the oil off the top of the water? Really, if not why don't they figure out one. Oil is lighter than water.

They are talking about how much it's going to take to clean it up. All guess work. Let's get in there, fix it, then figure out what to do to keep it from happening again.

I use to be a welder at one time, working with metal over half my life. These caps they have tried to make. Another jokethey are making it to small. Make a big box to encompass the whole outfit with a funnel at the top and they couldguide it to tanksor barges, something, instead of just letting it go.I'm very very glad that the fire departments don't work the way the government and BP are working this. Everyone might as well grab marshmellow and hotdogs and have a party, because the house or building would be gone.

Metal is heavier than water, come on use your imagination and see it in your minds eye. The saw gets stuck, these rink-a dink-caps that they have tried to make, come on. And look at how long it took to make them, geezz, I hope they were within specs!

I , myself , think there is something else going on, because of all the stupidity that is going on with this tragedy.Just think for a moment.......Have you noticed something very strange. I don't want to jinx it but it needs to be pointed out.

Has enyone figured out what's strange yet. I'll give you a few more seconds......... OK, I can't stand it. When Bush was in office and he and Cheney had a big meeting with the oil companies, if one of those Arabs farted, they'd tell us they lost some gas and the price would rise. Here we have 20,000 to 40,000 barrels a DAY, and I imagine they are 55 gallon drums, THE PRICE HAS DROPPED, at least in my area, it's not a lot but compared to when the oil companies had us bent over and was drilling for blood, it was getting rediculous. Still is if you ask meNotice that the Media isn't pointing this out either.

The Republicans try putting the blame on the Democrats and the Democrats blame the Republicans and the Independants blame one or the other, depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Do you know what would get Congress and the House of Representatives to get things done better. TO WORK FOR US. It's another mind twister. Yep, let us vote on whether they get their pay raises. Maybe , just maybe they will start taking their jobs more serious, spend more time running the country instead of running their mouths. I don't see any of them coming up with any real (yes I said real) ideas on how to straighten out this mess.

Let the big guys fall if they can't run the business any better than what they have. There are plenty of the smaller guys just itching to get some of that 'business'. Have the overlooked the principle of the monopoly laws? They are wanting 'new' jobs, how can you do that when the Fat Cats are laying people off?

They need to read up on Hamilton's ideas on banking, look at Jefferson'sobjections and work at what's best. What happened to all of these construction jobs that were coming into play. WE all can't be census takers, oh, and by the way, are we going to get paid for filling out the census? We have done what they are redoing. Someone doesn't think it was done right, and they are right. Do they have a slot for illegal immigrant? I'd better stop before i get started on the illegals. the nerve of them to protest and then Mexico's President slams us because we have sensible laws so people don't just flood tthe US the way the illegals are now. If they get away with changing the Illegal status for their benefit then maybe we legals ought to through a fit like they are about being taxed. I don't see why we are paying taxes when they rase their wages with no concern about main street (then bitch about wall street) and to top it off have someperson or people yell, scream, holler about how they have the right to break the law to come into this country and then they send that money to their families in Mexico, now you know why the President of Mexico slammed the Arizona law. That's more money for him and his people. I think we have bent over backwards as it is and enough is enough. The line needs to be drawn. With that said I thinkI've said enough....for now. Later

Money Needed

Money Needed

My husband and I are currently navigating the imigration process. I am an American and my husband is from Mexico. We have two children and have been togehter for over 4 years. I filed a petition for my husband to become a resident of the United States 3 years ago. We have spent over $6000 in legal fees and imigration charges. Due to his residency status, he has been unable to work for over 3 years. This has put a great financial strain on our family and I had to file bankruptcy 2 years ago. We waited 2 years to be granted an interview by imigration and were told that the first step was complete and that he could return to his home country to await his second interview. I was told my my attorney that his second interview could be 3-6 months away and has an estimated 9-12 month waiting period to received his visa that he needs to return. I have attemped to support myself and my 2 girls by myself but am struggling. I was counting to use my tax return money to see my husband that I have not seen in over 4 months, however I am not receiving much as I do not qualify for earned income since my husband is not a resident. My 2 bank accounts are overdrawn a total of $800.00 and I owe my phone company over $700 as the failed to enroll me in an international long distance plan and are charging me an amazing $2.50 a minute when most plans or cards charge $0.03 a minute. I am looking for help for myself and my childern to go to Mexico so that we can be reunited during Spring Break. I would appreciate all the help I can get. My family has helped as much as they can, but I can't stay ahead.
